My life was now complete I had my baby boy back home with me and his two brothers I couldn't ask for more, Mark came home from Thingwall with two huge bin bags of toys he had received at the Christmas party, life was looking up not just for us as a family but also for Mark himself, I could never have asked for a more content child, he was always smiling and was so intelligent as a 1yr old I could actually hold a conversation with him, he was out of nappies day and night by the time he was 18mths, my other two boys where around 3 when they where out of nappies day n night, my baby was gorgeous, cute and intelligent a perfect child in all ways but I still had to take Mark to the Hospital every 2-3 months for check ups and he had been admitted on two occasions as his eczema had flared up badly but for the first few months of 1979 everything was good I didn't think the Dr's would ever find out what was causing Mark's eczema, they had told me it normally occurs in 7 yr cycles and it might go of its own accord, I wasn't over excited about this explanation. Then a friend of my Mums Marge had seen an article in a newspaper about a lady who's son had what seemed like the exact symptoms as Mark, this lady also had no joy from what her Dr's told her and she took her son to see a specialist in America, this specialist told the lady to take her son home and to get him on goats milk asap which she did and her son was making remarkable progress, my Mum told me about the story and I asked people if they knew of anyone with goats, I had no joy, everywhere I went I would ask and always got the same answer No Sorry I don't know, I was coming to the end of my tether, then a thought came to me, why not write to someone who could find out for me, and so i wrote to the local Birkenhead News, a local paper that came out every week, I ask them if they knew of anyone who supplied and delivered goats milk.
